FIELD: agriculture, plant protection.
SUBSTANCE: for the purpose to prevent the development of Colorado potato beetle' resistance to insecticide of this or that chemical group one should conduct antiresistance treatment with mixture of aqueous suspensions of insecticide, microbiological preparation based upon entomopathogenic nematodes of Steinernema sp. and copper-containing fungicide. The above-mentioned mixture should be pre-heated up to 27-32 C to be applied against Colorado potato beetle larvae of 1-2 age groups during hours of evening maximum of air moisture in the upper part of potato bush. The method enables to decrease insecticide loading upon pest and plant under protection from 0.85-1.65 l/hectare (kg/hectare) to 0.01-0.5 l/hectare (kg/hectare) and obtain a 3-fold decrease of treatments and higher potential of antiresistance activity of insecticides by 3-6 times along with biological efficiency and ecological safety of their application in potato fields to protect them against Colorado potato beetle.
