FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, machining equipment.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has drive disk with bundles of wire piles arranged circumferentially of disk. Disk is positioned at an acute angle to surface to be machined. Working surface of bundles is arranged at the same acute angle to plane perpendicular to axis of rotation of disk. Ratio of length of slot between bundles to width of bundle is 0.5-1. Wire piles are resiliently pressed by means of resilient supports made in the form of plates. Apparatus may be used for removal of slag metal, corrosion products and metal cuttings from surface, as well as for removal of burrs, for rounding of edges and machining of surfaces on milling, multiple-position and multiple-operation machines.
EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, improved quality of machining of surfaces and increased service life of apparatus.
