FIELD: agricultural production, in particular, mechanized postharvest processing of grain.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has charging grain hopper, grain guide, dosing device, distributing tilt surface, and forming slot. Many-sided drum with flat baffling plates on its generatrices and fraction receptacle are arranged under forming slot on horizontal shaft. Ratchet wheel is fixed on baffling drum in axially aligned relation therewith. Ratchet wheel teeth are arranged in helical path. Retaining catch is positioned in slots in inclined position with respect to ratchet wheel teeth supporting surface and is connected with grain hopper through tie-rods and levers. Tie-rod and leverage system for coupling hopper with retaining catch is designed for changing transmission ratio. Baffling drum is provided with rotating spiral spring or with weight equipped with flexible thread.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in cleaning of spherical seeds from contaminants.
