FIELD: mechanical engineering; passenger cars heating system.
SUBSTANCE: proposed heating circuit contains boiler, expansion tank, circulating pump and heating pipeline laid near floor and side wall of car. Ends of heating pipeline are connected to short and long upper branches of closing pipes delivering liquid heat carrier. Heating pipeline is connected with return pipeline. Heating pipeline passes through compartment walls being provided with ribs made of sheet metal and secured on pipeline at preset pitch. Ribbed sections are made of different length cylindrical spirals manufactured on metal tape and secured on heating pipeline. Number of turns in each spiral decreases from one compartment to the other opposite to direction of heat carrier flow.
EFFECT: provision of uniform heating of passenger compartments, reduced metal usage in heating system.
