FIELD: equipment for microbiological purification of sewage water by producing biological suspension.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has reactor comprising biomass and including upper and lower reactor chambers. Sewage water to be purified is supplied through pipe 1 into upper reactor chamber and mixed with portion of biomass. Filtering and aerating unit 6 adjoining reactor includes at least one hollow porous body 7 serving as membrane. Water and biomass may be directed through section of said hollow body, and cavity of at least one hollow body may be communicated with gas source or with drain pipe 10 for filtered clarified water. At least one hollow body 7 serves as aeration member during aeration process and as filtering member during filtering process. Apparatus of such construction allows only small amounts of sediment to be obtained.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in purifying of sewage water, improved quality of water, simplified construction and provision for purifying of different amounts of sewage water.
