FIELD: drying of various materials by means of acoustic (ultrasonic) oscillations; chemical, biological and pharmaceutical industries and farming.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes subjecting the material to alternating acoustic action and abrupt drop of pressure at concentration of acoustic action on material being dried and focusing acoustic oscillations in area of material location. Material to be dried is placed in reservoir in form of toroid which is pressurized and is placed in larger in reservoir of larger volume having two similar ellipses in section which cross in such way that sections coincide in one of focuses; gas-jet converter is placed in focus which is common for both ellipses; toroid with material to be dried is placed in area of second focuses; propagation of oscillations to surface of toroid is obtained due to repeated reflection inside larger volume and focusing; acoustic action is alternated with pressurization of toroid and reduction of pressure in larger volume is alternated with depressurization of toroid.
EFFECT: intensification of process.
