SUBSTANCE: the bolt-action rifle has a buffer spring installed for engagement with the bolt stop and the receiver. The bolt stop is installed for longitudinal motion. Besides, the bolt stop is made with a hole for the operating rod and the plug. The buffer spring is installed in the hole between the plug and the operating rod. The operating rod is installed for transfer of the force of the buffer spring to the slide stop pin. The plug is installed for fixing the buffer spring in the hole of the bolt stop. The receiver is made with a hole. The buffer spring is installed in the hole between the operating rod and the plug, and the plug - for engagement with the rear surface of the bolt stop.
EFFECT: enhanced durability of the weapon.
