FIELD: machine engineering, possibly adjustment of centerless super-finishing machine tool at working different-diameter articles.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of providing rectilinear motion path of article parallel relative to symmetry axis of tools mounted in tool carriage due to setting respective spacing between axes of rolls of roll apparatus and their crossing angle. In order to coincide projection of tool symmetry axis on horizontal plane with axis of article laid in the same plane, roll apparatus and tool carriage are turned one relative to other around vertical axis.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of adjustment, improved quality of working in machine tool.
