FIELD: nitride materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for manufacturing products from chemically bound silicon nitrides for elements and units of motor car, marine, and aircraft engines as well as for surface power plants operated at temperatures up to 1500оС in combustion product atmosphere and other corrosive media. Method according to invention comprises grinding silicon-containing component and mixing it with nitration accelerator, in particular ferrous oxide or nickel, or nickel oxide, molding blank from resulting mixture, and nitration of the blank at 1000-1500оС followed by lowering porosity of blank to 0.1 to 15.0% utilizing impregnation of the latter with ethyl silicate followed by heat treatment optionally under nitrogen atmosphere and within silicon nitride and boron nitride charge.

EFFECT: increased nitration rate and increased resistance of material against oxidation, in particular at high temperatures, and also increased strength of material.
