PNEUMATIC GUN FOR UNDERWATER HUNT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: sports fishery, applicable for underwater hunt.

SUBSTANCE: the pneumatic gun for underwater hunt has a barrel with a muzzle gland, piston located in the barrel for longitudinal motion, harpoon, sear installed for engagement in the cocked position by its upper end with the annular groove of the harpoon, and a trigger. In addition, the gun has a trigger rod made with an annular groove on its front end, and a tie. With one end the tie is hinge-joined to the rear end of the trigger rod, and with the other - to the trigger. The muzzle gland has a groove, in which an additional gland is fixed, and the sear is made in the form of a rectangular-section pin, whose upper end is made in the form of a saddle with facets. Besides, the sear is made with a cylindrical hole in its lower section, and a duct is made in the additional gland. The trigger rod is provided with a spring providing for squeezing-out of the rod towards the trigger, and is positioned in the mentioned duct for longitudinal motion in it and free passage through the cylindrical hole of the sear. A facet is made on the rod annular groove for engagement of the rod with the lower end of the sear. The duct in the additional gland may be made in the form of a two-step cylindrical cavity; and the spring-enveloping the rod and located in the cavity of the larger diameter with restriction of its motion by means of a washer fixed on the trigger rod with the aid of a pin.

EFFECT: prevented spontaneous shot at a drop of the gun, the trigger force remaining within the preset range.
