FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, sowing of seeds of tilled crops, such as sugar beet, corn, soya etc.
SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has hopper with discharge window, drive system and dosing device made in the form of truncated hollow cone rotating around horizontal axis. Hollow cone bearing support arranged at side of smaller diameter. Ring with through cells is positioned at end part of cone base of smaller diameter. Ring is closed with cover equipped with local slot at rim. Cover is arranged for rotation around its axis. Through cells are made conical, with larger outer diameter. Rings with through cells may be replaced with rings having different number of cells, said cells may be of different size.
EFFECT: reduced damage to seeds during seeding procedure and simplified construction.
