FIELD: agricultural construction, in particular, building of protected ground cultivation constructions, such as hothouses for growing of vegetable and fruit crops, as well as medicinal and flower crops under artificial microclimate conditions.

SUBSTANCE: hothouse has vertical sprues and roof sprues, roof and side wall purlins, ridge profile, air vents, and light transmitting panels. Ridge profile is equipped with slot, where air vent hinges are rotated and fixed in operating positions by means of tie-rods of opening-closing mechanism. Upper and lower braces of air vents bind light transmitting panels with air vent sprues. Lower brace rests upon profile under air vent, i.e. immediately upon rib and through flexible shock-absorbing layer. Light transmitting panels extending along ridge profile are connected by roof sprues and extending along roof slope are connected through connecting profiles. Lower and upper roof brace profiles support light transmitting panels and roof sprues, with lower profile resting upon side rib of water gutter. Upper braces of roof and air vents are equipped with hinges shaped so as to provide for preliminary mounting of braces for mounting of hothouse, and final mounting thereof in operating position.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in removal of condensate from hothouse roof and air vent inner surfaces, enhanced reliability in operation of joints between air vent and lower parts of hothouse roof, strong and reliable connections of light transmitting panels, simplified mounting-dismantling of air vents on ridge profile and rigid attachment of roof upper brace to ridge profile, and reduced material usage for hothouse ridge profile.
