FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: greenhouse with ridged transom comprises a frame which forms the side and end walls, gable roof with ridge beam, the translucent material enclosing the frame from outside and having a transom. In the ridge of the roof and on either side of it the ventilation opening is made, covered with a ridge transom, which has the same profile as the roof, and rests on the roof around the perimeter of the transom and the ventilation opening. The transom is connected to the device of its movement outwardly from the roof ridge.

EFFECT: use of present invention enables to improve the efficiency of the ventilation system of the greenhouse.
