SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gluing materials used in polygraphy for stitching and binding operations, in particular in the process of mechanized manufacture of binding covers on high-speed equipment. Glue composition contains glutin glue, dextrin, carbohydrates, glycols or glycerol, water-soluble synthetic polymer, resin acids and their derivatives, mineral additives, antifoaming agent, preservative, odorizing agent, fine (10-20 mcm) alumina, and water. New properties of glue composition substantially improve quality of finished produce and production-technological characteristics in a wide range of application thereof in different process operations such as mechanized manufacture of binding covers and gluing gauze to spine and manual manufacture of binding covers.

EFFECT: improved production-technological properties of glue.
