FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: hydrofined straight-run gasoline fraction 40-193оС is subjected to reforming after preliminary separation of feedstock. In particular, before feeding reaction mixture into reactor, gasoline portion thereof is separated into top fraction and residual fractions with initial temperature boiling within a range of 85-105оС. Residual fraction comes into contact with alumino-platinum catalyst in reforming reactor and top fraction is sent to mixing with reactor product.
EFFECT: increased yield of high-octane gasoline.
