FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, in particular, processing of secondary paper wastes and production of bulky articles of, preferably, complex shape from fibrous suspensions.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has pulp vessel, die with working surface equipped with through holes connected to pneumatic system main, drainage layer and device for removal of ready article. Drainage layer is made detachable and is manufactured from elastic porous material arranged in loose state above die for temporary full contacting with die working surface. Method involves spreading drainage layer and arranging it above die working surface; settling fiber and simultaneously providing elastic changing of shape of drainage layer until it is fully contacting with die working surface; removing ready article from die in conjunction with drainage layer.
EFFECT: increased quality of articles of complex shape and reduced production costs.
