SUBSTANCE: method involves forming holes of 5 cm diameter and 2-m space between holes; sowing steppe cereal and wormwood seeds of large size in the vicinity of holes. Method allows bird population and fundamental associations of typical steppe animals in anthropogenic landscapes to be restored.
EFFECT: increased ecological capacity and value of anthropogenic landscapes owing to effective arrangement of calandra lark breeding sites on areas touched with different kinds of degradation.
