FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: establishment of forest shelterbelts combined with arrangement of 7-10 m wide virgin steppe vegetation borders within the fields sheltered along the terrain contours separating adjacent forest belts. Spacings between steppe vegetation borders are laid out depending on the slope gradient. With the slope gradient amounting to 2-3°, 3-4° and 4-5° the width of spacings between steppe vegetation borders is equal to 250 m, 180 m and 80 m accordingly.
EFFECT: decrease of slope outwash intensity.
