FIELD: feed production.
SUBSTANCE: phytopreservative-enricher is mixture of mustard and pumpkin cakes used in the ratio of, wt%, 90:10. Mixture is introduced in an amount of 100 g per 1 kg of green mass adapted for silage. Usage of mustard and pumpkin cakes as preservative allows crude protein and fat content in silage to be increased.
EFFECT: improved nutritive properties of green feeds subjected to silage with the use of phytopreservative.
