MANUAL VACUUM MASSAGING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicinal equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has transparent massaging cup 1 made in the form of cylinder with bent downward and ovalized lower edge 2, round piston 3 positioned inside massaging cup, and elastic corrugated branch pipe 4 connected in sealing relation with massaging cup and piston, piston moving mechanism and cover 13. Construction of apparatus allows reduced pressure to be created in massaging cup by just providing compressing action of hand of one arm, with automatic multiple-staged unidirected fixation of vacuum degree or without it, for quick independent recovery of apparatus to initial state owing to availability of U-shaped handle 12 connected to cover 13, thrust for fingers 8 movably positioned inside handle 12 and connected to three stems 5, 6, 7 of piston. Middle stem is provided with inclined teeth. Cover 13 has additional air discharge opening 29 and two guiding openings 27, 28 for movement of spring-loaded closure 14, one of guiding openings being made L-shaped to allow piston fixation position to be eliminated. One end of closure is made beveled for teeth of stem 6 and other end is provided with protrusion 21 for eliminating or blocking of fixation and independent lowering of piston by elastic force of corrugated branch pipe 4.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing sufficiently high vacuum degree in massaging cup, automatic fixation of predetermined vacuum degree or independent recovery to initial state.
