SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compound of oxyindole order, namely, 6-bromo-4-dimethylaminomethyl-1-methyl-5-hydroxy-2-phenylthiomethylindolinyl-3-carboxylic acid ethyl ester hydrochloride that is an active substance of the preparation "Arbidol" and preparation based on thereof as a gelatin capsule. Agent comprises arbidol and the following accessory additives: potato starch, methylcellulose, low-molecular polyvinylpyrrolidone, aerosil, calcium stearate, Tween-80 taken in the definite ratio of components. Gelatin capsule comprises gelatin, glycerol and water taken in the definite ratio of components. Invention provides the development of medicinal formulation eliciting stability in storage and eliciting virus-inhibitory effect with respect to influenza virus A and B.
EFFECT: valuable medicinal antiviral properties of agent.
