SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hepatoprotective agent used for reducing alcoholic intoxication. Except for components based on succinic, fumaric and glutamic acids the agent comprises at least one component based on tartaric acid taken among the group consisting of tartaric acid, its isomers, tartaric acid sodium salt, tartaric acid disodium salt, isotartaric acid sodium salt, isotartaric acid disodium salt, tartaric acid potassium salt, tartaric acid dipotassium salt, isotartaric acid potassium salt, isotartaric acid dipotassium salt, tartaric acid ammonium salt, tartaric acid diammonium salt, isotartaric acid ammonium salt, isotartaric acid diammonium salt or their mixture and, additionally, energetic agent and sweetening agent. Agent can comprise additionally thioorganic sulfur-containing compounds, among them, unithiol, BAL (British anti-lewisite) or BAL applied on carrier, or their mixtures, salmon fish or squid DNA hydrolyzate or their mixtures, acetylsalicylic acid, its sodium, potassium or ammonium salts or their mixtures, antioxidant components, among them coenzymes Q, leucopin, pycnogenol, tocopherol acetate, tocopherol succinate, taurine, selenium inorganic or organic compounds, among them compounds applied on carrier. Also, invention proposes a method for reducing alcoholic intoxication, prophylaxis and elimination of alcoholic withdrawal syndrome, among them in non-alcoholic intoxication also. Invention provides described effects without the qualified medical inspection.
