FIELD: medicine, veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: as an antiseptic agent the method involves using neutral anolyte with oxidative-reductive potential from +850 to +950 mV and in the concentration of oxidants 250-280 mg/l by active chlorine obtained from 0.3-0.5% sodium chloride solution in the diaphragm electrolyzer device by effect with the direct current with power 4.5-5.5 A and voltage 14-15 V in the current density value from 500 to 550 A/m2. The indicated antiseptic agent is fed on to ill calves in the dose 300-350 cm3, two times per 24 h for 2-3 days. Invention promotes to elimination of diarrhea pathogens, recovery of damaged digestive mucosa and recovery of its function that, in turn, promotes to prophylaxis of disease relapses and shortening treatment times. Invention can be used in treatment of infectious diarrhea in newborn calves.
