FIELD: mechanical engineering; cleansing and modifying the surfaces of the gear pumps from technological contaminations.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the method of cleansing and modifying the surfaces of the gear pumps used for pumping over the baths for manufacture of synthetic fibers from technological contaminations and their coating with an anticorrosive, anti-adhesive and anti-frictional film and it may be used in mechanical engineering at restoration of operability and in production of pumps for manufacture of chemical fibers. The method provides for: cleansing of details of gear pumps with use of a solution of white spirit and means of mechanical cleaning; modifying the surfaces and a final cleansing is conduct in the solution containing alkali NaOH - 180-200 g/l, sodium silicateNa2SiO3 - 50 - 70 g/l, triethanolamineHOCH2CH2)3N - 15-18 g/l, the rest - up to 1 liter of water, at the temperature of its boiling during 2 hours, and with following mechanical removal of products of contamination. Use of this method of cleansing allows to apply on the surfaces of the gear pumps the film modifying coatings of the type of sodium ferrite -Na2Fe2O4 , sodium molybdate - Na6Mo7O24 , sodium chromate -Na2Cr2O7 representing oxidation-proof compounds providing increase of wear-resistance at a mechanical-and-corrosion wear of the pumps friction pairs and hindering from sticking of technological contaminations in communicating channels of the pumps. Availability in the washing-modifying solution of a sodium silicate (liquid silica glass) predetermines formation on the surfaces of the pump of the anti-frictional films also raising wear-resistance of the friction pairs of the pump.

EFFECT: the invention ensures restoration of operability of the gear pumps used in production of synthetic fibers.
