SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heating metal of thread turn apices; displacing metal for further forming geometry of thread by simultaneous action of three mutually insulated tools mounted in common base; forming geometry of lateral portions of thread by means of two terminal tools extended according to nominal profile of restored surface.
EFFECT: possibility for restoring profile and enhancing properties of thread of parts worn in separate zone along length of helical surface.
