FIELD: explosives.

SUBSTANCE: ignition composition that can be used in igniters and in pyrotechnic cartridges contains organic brisant explosive and zirconium powder. Specific surface of zirconium powder particles, as measured by BET method, is 5-15m2/g and size of these particles does not exceeds 50 mcm.

EFFECT: enabled manufacture of safe ignition composition with high ignition capacity and high sensibility to actuating impulse, for example to heat impulse caused by wire incandescent bridge.
