FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safe explosive devices, namely to low-voltage bridging electric detonators using secondary (blasting) explosive substances (ES), and can be used as a small-size device for initiating charges of industrial explosives used in mining, coal and other industries, as well as in military industry. Low-voltage electric detonator consists of sleeve 1, insert (metal sleeve) 2, folded into sleeve 1, with explosive charge in form of weights: output 3 of high-density secondary explosive, coupled with it intermediate 4 of low-density deflagration ES and initiating 5 of high-deflagration high-density explosive, made with density of pressing, decreasing in direction to intermediate suspension, pressed directly into insert 2 and sleeve 1, sealed lead 8 sealed by laser welding to sleeve 1 and containing current leads 9, at that, shoe 6 is arranged between initiating suspension 5 and sealed lead 8 via metal gasket 7 to create air gap for guaranteed protection against static electricity of different polarity. On the side of dielectric shoe 6 adjacent to initiating charge 5 there is initiator 10, and on the opposite side there is discharger 11. Initiator 10 is made in the form of a filament bridge made of resistive material in the form of a layer, the height of which is determined from a mathematical expression and depends on the thickness of the dielectric substrate.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of engagement, safety, speed and reliability of low-voltage ED, as well as reduces power consumption.
