FIELD: petroleum processing.
SUBSTANCE: sludge is taken from sludge pond heated by mixing heat carrier: oil fuel preheated to 86-95oC in amount 0.5 to 5 volumes per 1 volume sludge, then mixed with neutralizing composition made up of group I and II metal (sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium_ oxides, hydroxides, or carbonic acid salts, mazut, and modifier of synthetic fatty acid fraction C6-C22. Composition contains particles 25 to 50 mcm in size. Neutralization proceeds at 60-85oC for 6-8h, after which product stratifies into liquid and solid phases. The former is commercial product and the latter is reused.
EFFECT: improved quality of finished product.
