FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: additive for motor fuels used in forced0ignition internal combustion engines contains 1-5% iron complex compound, 10-60% amide, 0.5-2% organic acid magnesium salts, and the rest-aromatic amine utilization of this additive essentially raises octane number of base gasoline containing ferrocene in concentrations not exceeding permissible values. In particular, octane number rises by 2.5 to 12units according to research method in dependence on properties of base gasoline and amounts of additive used. Additive ensures phase and chemical stability of fuel, reduced losses upon storage and transportation owing to reduced vaporization. It also contributes to removal of deposits in the inlet system of engine and reduces level of toxic constituents in exhaust gases.
EFFECT: essentially improved octane number and other working characteristics of gasoline.
