FIELD: fuel systems.
SUBSTANCE: in order to add anti-detonation activity mixture of organic substances in steam-liquid phase containing aromatic amine, antioxidant, turpentine, chlorinated paraffin wax, and isoparaffin is treated with metallic manganese at temperature of additive boiling at atmospheric pressure and at ratio of additive circulation through a catalyst 1.0-10.0. The source mixture of organic substances contains wt %: turpentine 35.0-50.0; aromatic amine 2.0-5.0; chlorinated paraffin wax 1.0-2.0; antioxidant 3.0-5.0; isoparaffin - the rest to 100; catalyst - metallic manganese.
EFFECT: additive upgrades fuel performance number when added to low octane motor fuels.
