FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to checking condition of diesel engines. Proposed meter for measuring fuel injection advance angle has nozzle needle shift pickups and crankshaft position pickups connected with first and second shapers, chain of series-connected register, decoder and indicator, controllable high-frequency oscillator, converter, and cylinder number selector connected to each other. Meter is furnished additionally with two-channel cycle duration control unit, counting commencement unit, and frequency corrector. Three-parameter converter is connected by information and control outputs with separate inputs of register and by first, second, third, fourth and fifth inputs, respectively, with frequency corrector, pulse (second) period shaper, counting commencement unit and first and second outputs of two-channel cycle duration control unit. Counting commencement unit is connected with first shaper which is made two-pole. Cylinder number selector is connected with input of two-channel cycle duration control unit. Regulating input and output of controllable high-frequency oscillator are connected with frequency corrector and oscillator synchronizing input is connected with output of pulse (Second) period shaper.

EFFECT: facilitated measurements on different cylinders without shutting down diesel engine.
