FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for checking condition of diesel engine, particularly, checking advance angles of fuel injection into cylinders of diesel engine. Proposed device contains nozzle needle valve movement pickup and piston top dead center pickup connected with corresponding shapers, and circuit of series-connected register, decoder and indicator, high-frequency generator, selector of cylinder number and conversion circuit with counters. Moreover, device contains cycle duration unit and beginning of counting unit and frequency corrector. Invention provides automatic control of metering with due account of additional information concerning position of pickups and mode of engine operation. EFFECT: possibility of numerous measurements taken in different cylinders without shutting down the engine owing to partial changes of functional couplings between structural elements. 5 cl, 2 dwg
