FIELD: military equipment, in particular, elevating gears of weapon of turret mountings.
SUBSTANCE: the weapon elevating gear that is positioned in the carriage outside the inhabited part of the turret mounting has a reductor of the elevating gear hand drive and a weapon laying drive made in the form of a screw drive, where the screw is engaged with the reductor, and the nut - with the carriage. The weapon laying drive is made electromechanical and has a screw drive, electric motor and an automatic hand drive disengagement mechanism. The rotor of the electric motor is fastened on the screw of the screw drive. The automatic hand drive disengagement mechanism is installed in the reductor of the elevating gear hand drive.
EFFECT: enhanced rate of weapon laying, as well as the efficiency of layer's operation.
