FIELD: electrical engineering; plug connectors.
SUBSTANCE: plug socket or plug that has shroud enclosing respective part of plug connector can be connected to cable with aid of clamping member. Shroud and clamping member are provided with additional means for limiting axial displacement in direction opposing thread of shroud relative to that of clamping member and for preventing their separation upon connection. Locknut is coaxially joined with mentioned clamping member for remaining joined with mentioned clamping member and through the latter, with shroud when this nut is fully turned out and removed. There are also means for preventing spontaneous loosening of nut when it is turned in already.
EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated cable disconnection from clamping device without using any tools.
