FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed protective gear designed to protect single-phase, up to 1 kV loads against voltage deviations and also to protect television and audio equipment, personal computers, split systems, and other electrical appliances against long-time overvoltages in ac or dc systems followed by their automatic reclosure upon voltage recovery to desired value has circuit breakers 1 and 2, rectifier 3, first current-limiting member 4, electromagnetic member with control winding 5 that incorporates auxiliary contacts 6 and power contacts 7, second current-limiting component 6, second power switch 9, first power switch 10, time delay circuit 11, first threshold element 12, OR gate 13, second threshold element 14, overvoltage limiters 15, 16, peripheral device, TEST 1 and TEST 2 buttons. Proposed protective gear is easy to manufacture, simple in design, and can be manufactured from standard electrical and radio components.
