FIELD: medicine, neurology.
SUBSTANCE: the method deals with injecting medicinal preparation as oxymethylpyridine succinate. Moreover, in babies under 1 yr it is necessary to introduce this preparation intramuscularly at the dose of 25 mg once daily for 12 d at repeated course in 6 mo and at increasing the dose up to 50 mg; in children above 1 yr one should introduce this preparation intramuscularly per 5- mg once daily for 16 d at repeated therapeutic course during a year till improving the cognitive functions. The suggested technique enables to rapidly restore and improve cerebral functions in comparison with other methods.
EFFECT: more shortened terms of therapy.
