METHOD FOR REHABILITATION IN CHILDREN WITH PERINATAL ENCEPHALOPATHY Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, pediatrics, neonatology. SUBSTANCE: impact is conducted with alternating magnetic field at 50-100 Hz frequency, by the edge of rectangular inductor onto cervical-occipital area at 8.75 mTl intensity in 1-6- mo-aged children, 13 mTl older than 6 months of age, time of procedure: for neonatals about 3-4 min (the first 3 procedures per 3 min, from 4th-6th procedure per 4 min; in babies of 2-6 months age about 5-6 min (the first 3 procedures per 5 min, from 4th-6th procedure per 6 min; in children of more than 6 months age till 12 months about 7-8 min (the first 4 procedures per 7 min, from 5th-8th procedure per 8 min), daily, 6 procedures/course in babies up to 6 months of age, 8 procedures/course in children above 6 months to 12 months of age. The method enables to normalize both mental and motor development in children, decrease the portion of medicinal therapy and shorten the terms of rehabilitation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 ex
