FIELD: heat power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a multi-stage evaporator of an instantaneous ebullition. It is dealt with the field of heat power engineering and may be used in production of sweet water from sea-water. The evaporator of an instantaneous ebullition contains a body, a vertical separating partition with a window for the steam passing densely fixed to the body and dividing the evaporator into chambers of expansion and condensation, branch-pipes for inlet and outlet of the evaporated water and distillate. Each of the chambers of condensation and expansion has a separate bottom and all are tightly connected to the dividing partition and the body of the evaporator. The side of the bottom opposite to its side adjacent to the separating partition protrudes beyond the boundaries of the body and is tightly fused to it from the outside. The separating partition is additionally provided with windows per a number of the chambers of expansion for the steam passing, and the bottoms have the cylindrical branch-pipes for the liquid distillate passing. The design allows to increase productivity of the evaporator and reliability of its operation at the expense of exclusion of cross-flow of the water of heightened mineralization into the distillate and to avoid a contact of the aggressive medium with the welding joints on the body.
