FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the field of chemical industry, in particular, to liquid extraction by solvents. The offered method to reduce size of the stages in the process of a solvent extraction the first and the last cells of extraction are supplied with a sedimentation unit and, at least, one of the cells of the middle section also has a sedimentation unit located around the unit of mixing. The cross-sectional area of a sedimentation unit, at least, in one of cells of the middle section is maximum equal to the half of the cross-sectional area of the sedimentation unit of first and last cells of a stage of extraction. The cell of extraction by a solvent is formed from the pump unit of liquid extraction, at least, one mixer and a settler. The settler of a cell is supplied, at least, with one lattice fence. The sedimentation unit of the cell of extraction by a solvent is formed around of a pump unit of a cell and a mixer of the cell. This method and the device allow to reduce space, in which the process is carried out, to ensure a decrease of the investment inputs, and also to reduce the need in chemicals for extraction by a solvent.
EFFECT: the invention allows to reduce a space, required for the production process, the need in chemicals for extraction by a solvent and the investment inputs.
