FIELD: production of large-sized independent space modules on an assembly orbit designed for fulfillment of an orbital flight in natural conditions of a whole number of experimental, applied and scientific jobs.
SUBSTANCE: the space module of a variable shape hasn't in its structure a pressurized compartment and contains the principal structural member in the form of an attachment frame with a transport container secured on it. The main and additional rotary flaps together with the drives of their turning and with the panels of solar batteries fastened on them are installed outside this container on its end and side surfaces. Placed in the internal volume are the small remote-controlled space vehicle and the components of the load-bearing framework together with the module shell. The load-bearing framework is made in the form of inflatable tubular members, and the outer shell is made in the form of a protective grid of synthetic material. The rotary flaps are turned remotely. Spatial turning of the members of the inflatable framework and the module shell is effected with the aid of the small space vehicle. As a result of pressurization of the tubular members of the framework, an inflatable stable in time, spatial pressurized structure of the preset shape is formed.
EFFECT: usable for installation - assembly operations of the module of the small remote-controlled automatic space vehicle.
