FIELD: industrial inorganic synthesis.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises absorption of nitroso gases by nitric acid condensate passed from refrigerator-condenser into middle section of absorption column. Absorption is carried out with additional introduction of nitric acid withdrawn from deflecting plate of column and regenerated by freeing it of unreacted nitrogen oxides and diluted to concentration 5-10%. Additional nitric acid is fed by two stream: the first stream is directed onto first plate from above in amount 1.0-2.0 kg liquid/kg gas and the second stream under deflecting plate. Above-mentioned regeneration is achieved by passing air into regenerator in amount 0.04-0.1 kg gas/kg liquid.
EFFECT: enhanced absorption efficiency and reduced expenses.
