FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns technology of organic salts used for preparation of simplest explosives. Granulated porous ammonium nitrate is obtained using conditioning additives and, to impart white color, pore-forming additives, in particular aqueous suspension containing calcium carbonate, dispersant, and sodium or potassium stearate. According to invention, in order to acidify ammonium nitrate before addition of pore-forming additive, 50-80% NH4NO3 solution with 80-120 g/L nitric acid is applied.
EFFECT: reduced caking of product, enhanced whiteness of granules, and enabled utilization of magnesium nitrate as conditioning additive.
