FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method of producing porous granulated ammonium nitrate involves preparing a solution of ammonium nitrate, injection of a stabilizing magnesia additive spraying of the obtained solution on recycle representing prilled ammonium nitrate granules, wherein simultaneously in space and time is introduced as stabilizing additive magnesium oxide in amount of 0.5-2 wt% and pore-forming additive in amount of 0.1-1 wt% with vaporizing by hot air at temperature of 100-120°C of formed granules of introduced water and delivering of required porous structure.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a technology allowing to obtain porous granulated ammonium nitrate with high static strength (up to 22 n/granule), high resistance to thermal cycles -20 °C↔60 °C, with controlled absorbent (from 8 to 18 %) and holding (from 5 to 9 %) capacity of granules in diesel fuel as well as bulky density (of 720-890 kg/m3) in plate-type apparatus using as a recycle ammonium nitrate granules produced by prilling.
