FIELD: power machinery and heat-and-power engineering, particularly equipment for cooling liquids and gases.
SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger comprises plates with ribs arranged from both plate sides and defining channels between plate and rib surfaces. At least one additional rib is connected to each side of each plate so that additional rib is located at plate end and spaced a distance from the nearest rib. The distance is equal to thickness of rib connected to opposite end of the same plate side.
EFFECT: improved gas or liquid cooling ability and improved heat exchanger manufacturability.
