FIELD: armament, applicable in sporting double-barreled guns.
SUBSTANCE: the firing mechanism of a double-barreled gun is assembled on a separate base and includes hammers, sears, trigger, spring-loaded disconnector and a safety lock. The novelty in the firing mechanism is in the fact that the disconnector has a spring-loaded trigger-lever plunger engageable with the copying surface and the supporting pad made on the safety lock fixing arm, which in its turn, is provided with a shoulder locking the trigger through the disconnector, the latter has a lug engageable with the recesses and profile surfaces formed in the triggers.
EFFECT: enhanced operating characteristics due to provision of the second shot at a misfire of the first one, prevented "doubled" shots, enhanced safety of weapon handling.
