FIELD: electrical engineering; borehole permanent-magnet electrical machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed borehole rotary power supply that can be used to supply with power systems for determining deviation survey parameters and data transfer systems in boreholes has shroud accommodating hydraulic turbine and electric generator case. Main parts of this generator are stator in the form of yoke with six bars of magnetic core carrying winding coils and rotor incorporating high-coercivity multipole annular permanent magnet. Axial plain bearing inserted between stator and rotor makes it possible to reduce mechanical vibrations, to facilitate rotor installation, and to raise power characteristics of generator.
EFFECT: enhanced output power and operating reliability of proposed power supply.
