FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, irrigation equipment used in continuously advancing girder-type sprinkler machines.
SUBSTANCE: girder has pipelines of central panel and pipelines of water supplying belt. Said pipelines are made in the form of curved chain lines in transverse-vertical plane, said lines being described by equation: y=(a/2)(ex/a+e-x, with /a), where a is distance from surface of field to be irrigated to pipeline arranged in mid portion of central panel; e is base of natural logarithm (Napierian number), e=2.71828; x and y are abscissas and ordinates of required point of pipeline in Cartesian coordinates system, with leading ends of coordinates being aligned with field surface and vertical axis of symmetry of girder.
EFFECT: reduced material usage, enhanced reliability in operation and increased efficiency.
