SUBSTANCE: invention describes liquid fungicide composition based on compound of the formula (Ia) (metconazole):
and method for inhibition of fungus growth in the damage focus. Method involves applying the synergetically effective dose of metconazole and chlorothalonil or cresoxime-methyl in the presence of a solubilizing agent. Fungicide composition provides effective inhibition of different fungi being especially in cereal cultures, such as wheat.
