SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle sliding door opening and closing mechanism. Proposed door drive mechanism of vehicle designed to let passengers get in through aperture 8 in wall 9 contains beam structure which carries door 6, 7, drive 32, 33 and power train means 35, 36, 37, 40, 41, 42 to transmit motion from to door for opening, closing or locking of door. Said beam structure passes through upper section of aperture 8 and is arranged inside to provide sliding under action of drive 32, 33 between relatively pushed-in position inside aperture 8 in which said door 6, 7 is located in first plane in position "closed" inside aperture, and relatively less pushed-in position inn which said door is located in second plane out of said aperture.
EFFECT: enlarged store of equipment.
