FIELD: organic synthesis technology, in particular chlorinated hydrocarbons.
SUBSTANCE: claimed compounds are obtained by chlorination of C1-C22-alpha-olefines which present waste product from oligomerization process of ethylene in presence of dicetyl peroxidicarbonate in amount of 0.1-0.3 % as reduced to olefin weight. Chlorinated hydrocarbons are useful in polyvinildichloride composition as secondary plasticizer for production of synthetic building materials, lacquers and dyes, leatherette, rubber industry etc., as well as fire retardant additions to various polymers.
EFFECT: utilization of waste product from oligomerization process of ethylene.
